Made of commercial-grade cast aluminum for even heat retention, and coated with a superior-quality nonstick finish, this griddle has two versatile cooking sides. Pancakes and eggs cook on the smooth side, hamburgers and chicken on the ridged. The griddle can be used outdoors on a barbecue grill, indoors on a stovetop (with the exception of glass and ceramic burners), and in an oven.
The cooking surface of the griddle measures a generous 10 by 19 inches, enough space for ten good-sized hamburgers. Each side features a corner drain pocket for grease. While the nonstick finish eliminates the need for extra grease, the use of solid or liquid vegetable shortening is recommended before each use. Non-metal utensils should be used to prevent damage to the finish. Dishwasher-safe, the griddle also cleans up easily by hand with hot soapy water.
