This cast iron grill pan is pre-seasoned and ready-to-use, without needing to specially prepare it before use by baking oil into the surface. Cast iron cookware cooks evenly and retains heat and may be used on the stovetop, in the oven, or over a campfire. The raised ribs on the surface of the grill pan allow the fat to drain while cooking meats and poultry.
The cookware's flat bottom allows it to heat evenly across the cooking surface, and may be safely used on ceramic glass cooktops.

Before first use, rinse with hot water (without soap) and dry completely. Apply a light coat of vegetable oil or non-stick cooking spray onto the inside surface before cooking.
